First weigh in

Yesterday was the first official weigh in, 14 days into the program. Am I up? Down? Sideways? Watch this video to find out and see what I am eating everyday. Thanks for all of your support and keep sending the questions this way.

  5. Congratulations Brad, on a most excellent adventure! I would like to ask if you would like to hike Flattop with Mike Ford and I. I am hoping that you would like to demonstrate the power of doing things now, rather than waiting till you are in better shape. So many people say I will do this or that as soon as I lose some weight, and as a result, they keep putting off the very activities that will help them lose weight. Hiking Flattop in winter in winter is more fun in many ways than in summer. There is a trail that is traveled all year round. You can take some video of the efforts for the blog, and have some fun. Give me a call or email. Jon Mapes (Lauries husband)

  6. Tessa, Congratulations! I am sure you will really enjoy working with AKH and the tailored programs they offer. Personally I am really impressed and inspired.

Jon, this sounds great! Is it possible to schedule for next Sunday? This is the first weekend in March, and for 34years in my family that means the start of the IDITAROD. Rick Swenson, my uncle, will take off for Nome again and I will be at both starts.

I agree, there is no time like the present and look forward to reaching the summit of Flattop for the first time.
